Live streaming online with AudioPressBox

Nowadays, it is more and more popular with journalists to stream press conferences as they happen live. Lately, we have been getting a lot of requests asking for help to find a proper solution how journalists, who bring only their smartphone to a press conference, can stream it directly online e.g. on Facebook using our press box.

We have prepared a solution for you all.

Smartphone is connected with AudioPressBox via iRig Stream using XLR - 2 cinch cable. This option covers the latest versions of both Iphone and Android devices. They no longer have a 3.5mm jack so you need to connect them via USB-C or lighning connector. Once connected the line output level allows them to stream the press conference directly online.

If your smartphone still has a 3.5 mm jack, you can still use this solution, but instead of the iRig stream, you will use iRig Pre. This iRig is connected with AudioPressBox with standard shielded microphone cable with XLR connectors.
